Dear Reader,
You can be a researcher or a practitioner or a public officer of some institution or public administration or just somebody dealing somehow with the phenomenon of cooperation.
The Editorial Team of the Handbook of Cooperative Economics is bringing an initiative parallel to the book attempting to map how practitioners in the cooperative world associate various ideas and concepts relating to cooperation.
We are interested in whether and to which extent individual actors’ representations converge or diverge, and on which issues.
On the next page, you will find a four column schema with two examples of Topics that you might think that have a connection. These examples merely indicate the form we request your responses to take.
If you believe there are concepts relating to economics and cooperation that have a connection (e.g., ethics and cooperative behavior), please list them in columns 1 and 2 and (in the third column) write few lines to say what is constitutive of each connection. In other words, try to explain why you think there is a connection. These concepts can involve the requisites for cooperation, distinctions between cooperative and traditional businesses or any other issues that you feel are relevant to the study of cooperation in the economy.
In the fourth column, please indicate the strength of that connection from 1 (weak connection) to 5 (strong connection).
Of course, besides the two examples reported here, your View of the Cooperative World likely includes other pairs of connected Topics. Well, would you please add them and write few rows to say what is constitutive of its connection and evaluate its strength?
Important: please, consider that a “Topic” can be a concept, like Cooperative Behavior, or an “object”, like Cooperative Firm. In short, anything that in your view matters for cooperation and the cooperative world.
We ask you to give us your View by filling the corresponding template in the website www.luciobiggiero.com by clicking on next button
